Spooky Tales By the River

Bring your family and friends to Spooky Tales by the River from the San Antonio Storytellers at Confluence Park this Saturday and hear stories from Maryann Blue, Mark Babino, Larry Thompson, Michael Brundy, Jane McDaniel, and Sue Kuentz. Lawn chairs and blankets welcome.

Free and open to the public.

The San Antonio Storytellers Association’s mission is to reintroduce the art of oral storytelling into the community at large. They believe storytelling brings people together in enjoyment, wonder, and common humanity and enhances and facilitates the education of the young. The art of storytelling can nourish the soul and imagination.

Your Generosity Has Changed Your World

Since 2003, our Foundation has privately raised and reinvested over $43 million dollars in enhancing your San Antonio River experience. Our project partners —the San Antonio River Authority, Bexar County, the City of San Antonio, and the US Army Corps of Engineers — have invested over $789 million in river improvements for our community. Together, our investments have added over $3.6 billion in economic impact through adjacent private investment and development.
