Pollinator Tea Party Open Call

The San Antonio River Foundation invites submissions for our annual Pollinator Tea Party Festival, and we hope you all can be part of this important zero-waste SARF family-friendly event at Confluence Park on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 6 – 10 PM. Our mission is to promote sustainability, highlight zero-waste strategies, and educate the community on pollinators in a fun event for all ages and abilities.

The Tea Party features two creative opportunities for artists in our community. This form serves as the application for both The Bug Hotel Mini Art Museum Open Call and The Mushroom Marker Featured Artist Open Call.

Artists may apply to one or both opportunities; however, they must complete all questions related to each open call they wish to be considered for. If you have any questions or concerns, please email ashley.perez@sariverfound.org.

Both applications close on Tuesday, February 24 and notifications will be sent via email on March 2.

Your Generosity Has Changed Your World

Since 2003, our Foundation has privately raised and reinvested over $43 million dollars in enhancing your San Antonio River experience. Our project partners —the San Antonio River Authority, Bexar County, the City of San Antonio, and the US Army Corps of Engineers — have invested over $789 million in river improvements for our community. Together, our investments have added over $3.6 billion in economic impact through adjacent private investment and development.
