Great Backyard Bird Count

Join Erin Magerl, Education Coordinator of Mitchell Lake Audubon Center for a FREE guided bird walk of the Mission Reach section of the San Antonio River to celebrate the Great Backyard Bird Count! The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) is a free, fun, and easy way to engage bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. The 26th annual GBBC will be held February 17 through February 20, 2023. Binoculars provided for use free of charge.
